Hello, World
If you are reading this, the internet is working—which is exactly what I study.
I’m Gad, a Telecom Engineering student at the University of Dar es Salaam.
When I tell people what I study, they usually think of climbing towers or fixing wires. And sure, that’s part of it. But really, my job is simple: I help information get from Point A to Point B without getting lost.
Whether it’s a voice across a phone line or a web page loading on your screen, it’s all about connection.
Why I built this website
I believe that engineering shouldn't be a black box that no one understands. It should be useful, and it should look good.
I spend my days studying how hardware (the physical machines) talks to software (the apps on your phone). This website is my place to show you what happens when those two worlds meet.
What you’ll find here
This isn't just a resume; it’s a "show and tell" for the things I’m building.
The Projects: Simple, useful tools I’ve made, like Weather-Wizard (an app that tells you if you need an umbrella, without the fuss).
The Learning: Notes on my journey through engineering school in Tanzania.
The Experiments: My attempts to make technology feel a little less like a machine and a little more human.
Let’s Chat
Thanks for stopping by my digital home. Feel free to look around, and if you see something you like (or something that’s broken), send me a message.
I promise to keep the connection strong.
